- Prioritised findings with the evidence behind each one, and a 45-minute call to go through them.
You have a concern, not an emergency.
Results have deteriorated and nobody agrees why
Opens, clicks or replies have fallen over weeks. Your platform, your agency and a forum each say something different.
You're not sure your setup is right
Several tools send as your domain. Nobody has looked at the whole picture since they were added.
A busy season or a decision is coming
You want to know where you stand before Q4, or before deciding whether to change platforms.
Not the right fit? If mail stopped arriving this week or you've been blocklisted, you need the emergency response — we start within one business day. If you already know the problem is DMARC, the DMARC rollout is the direct route.
Findings you can act on, in the order that matters.
Every finding states what we observed, why it matters to your sending, what should happen next and who owns it. Where the evidence stopped, we say so. The 45-minute call is for deciding — what your team does, what your provider does, and what can wait.
Marketing mail passes authentication; transactional receipts from the billing system do not
- What we observed
- Aggregate DMARC reports for 1–30 May show 96.2% of mail aligned. The 3.8% failing all comes from one source: the billing platform's IPs, sending as [sender].com with no DKIM signature and an SPF result of "neutral".
- Why it matters to you
- These are receipts and password resets — the mail customers most need to arrive. At Gmail they are currently treated as unauthenticated. This is consistent with the support tickets you shared ("didn't get my receipt"), though the reports alone can't tell us what happens to them.
- What we can't yet say
- Whether these messages are landing in spam or being dropped. Postmaster Tools is not connected for this domain; once it is, the "authenticated traffic" graph will answer this within a week.
- Next action
- 1. Billing platform owner: enable DKIM signing for [sender].com (their docs: "Custom sending domain") and add their include to SPF — about 1 hour. 2. Marketing: connect Postmaster Tools — 15 minutes. 3. We re-check alignment from the next weekly report.
- Owner · effort
- Engineering (billing) · 1 hour · no cost. Marketing · 15 minutes.
Three areas, each for a reason.
Sending identity
SPF, DKIM and DMARC for every service sending as your domain, and whether they align.
Why: providers filter mail they can't attribute to you. This is where most "mysterious" problems turn out to live.
Provider and reputation evidence
DMARC aggregate reports, Google Postmaster Tools, Microsoft SNDS, blocklists — whatever you have or can grant us.
Why: it's the only first-hand view of how providers rate you. If it doesn't exist yet, setting it up is finding #1.
Sending practices
How addresses are collected, bounce and complaint handling, frequency and segmentation, over the last 90 days.
Why: reputation is earned by what you send to whom. Records can be perfect and results still fall.
How it works
You request
Describe the situation and the domain. Two minutes.
We confirm scope and dates
By email, within one business day. We say if the audit isn't the right fit.
Invoice and access
You pay the invoice and grant read access (we send a checklist). The 10 business days start here.
We analyse
We may ask for message samples or a second look at something. Expect one or two emails.
Report
Delivered as a PDF, with the evidence attached.
45-minute call
Bring whoever will do the work. We leave you with an ordered plan.
Included
Up to two sending platforms · 90 days of history · the report · the call · email follow-up on the report's contents for 30 days.
Not included
Making the changes (we tell you exactly what to ask for; your team or provider does it) · re-testing after changes (available as a follow-up). We do not promise inbox placement; nobody honestly can.
What you get
We review your sending domains' authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, alignment) and your DMARC reports. We check your reputation at Google Postmaster Tools, Microsoft SNDS and the major blocklists. We review how you collect addresses, how you handle bounces and complaints, and how often you send. You get a written report with fixes in priority order, and a 45-minute call to go through it. Delivered within 10 business days of access. We do not promise inbox placement; nobody honestly can.
